Alan Amdahl is a common sense Midwestern Business owner of Alan Amdahl Construction Co. based in Sioux Falls.
Under the tutelage of his father, Alan has mastered the art of constructing homes. That led to designing, drafting and building custom homes, remodeling and even some light commerical construction.
Alan has learned the the values of responsibility and hard work, along with the importance of keeping his word. He has been in the business for 35+ years!
Alan has been very active the last 23 years in Home Builders. He is the 2010 Vice President of the Home Builders Association of the Sioux Empire.He has served as local president as well as State President of the South Dakota Home Builders Association (SDHBA) in 2003-2004. Alan has served on and chaired numerous committee within the HBAs. He also served as a National Director of the National Association of Home Builders.
Outside of the HBA, Amdahl is a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association and Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association. Alan and his wife, Chris, who is co-owner / partner in the business, live in Sioux Falls, SD and have three children, Annette, Alana, and Clark. In their spare time, the Amdahl's enjoy scuba diving, traveling & flying.
